Domar, Evsey David (1914-1997)

Polish-born US economist and educator. He taught at several universities before accepting a professorship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1958). He was the co-inventor of the ‘Harrod-Domar model’ of dynamic equilibrium in economic growth.

He was born in Łódź, which, at the time was part of Russia. Initially educated in China, he completed his education in the USA.
