Dominion Astrophysical Observatory

Canadian observatory near Victoria, British Columbia, the site of a 1.85-m/73-in reflector opened in 1918, operated by the National Research Council of Canada. The associated Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory at Penticton, British Columbia, opened in 1959, operates a 26-m/84-ft radio dish and an aperture synthesis radio telescope.
