Domino, ‘Fats’ (1928– )

US rock-and-roll pianist, singer, and songwriter. He was an exponent of the New Orleans style, and became one of the most popular performers in early rock and roll. His hits include ‘Ain't That a Shame’ (1955), ‘Blueberry Hill’ (1956), and ‘I'm Walkin'’ (1957).

He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996, and was awarded the National Medal of Arts in 1998.
