Douglas, James Henderson, Jr

Douglas, James Henderson, Jr (1899–1988)

US government official. He was a lawyer and investment banker before holding administrative posts in the Army Air Force during World War II. As Eisenhower's, Air Force secretary, he helped establish the US Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and graduated from Princeton and Harvard Law School.
