bulldozer

Earth-moving machine widely used in construction work for clearing rocks and tree stumps and levelling a site. The bulldozer is a kind of tractor with a powerful engine and a curved, shovel-like blade at the front, which can be lifted and forced down by hydraulic rams. It usually has caterpillar tracks so that it can move easily over rough ground.
