Draghi, Giovanni Battista (c. 1640–1708)

Italian harpsichordist and composer. He settled in London, and became music master to the Princesses Mary and Anne and organist to Catherine of Braganza, wife of Charles II. He set Dryden's Ode for St Cecilia's Day in 1687, contributed music to Durfey's Wonders in the Sun in 1706, and composed many harpsichord lessons and songs.
