Drammen

Port in southeast Norway and chief city of Buskerud county, on the Drammen Fjord, a branch of the Oslo Fjord; population (2007 est) 58,700. It is Norway's fifth-largest city. There are engineering, water-power equipment, food processing, and brewing industries; paper and wood pulp are manufactured and shipped from here.
