DreamWorks SKG

Leading US production company founded in 1994 by Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and David Geffen. It specializes in major films, and also produces television programmes, popular music, and home videos and DVDs. The company's films have included such blockbusters as Academy Award winners Saving Private Ryan (1998), American Beauty (1999), and Gladiator (2000).

It was the first new Hollywood studio since 20th Century Fox in the 1930s.

DreamWorks Interactive was a joint venture formed with Microsoft in 1995 to produce interactive games, videos, and teaching materials.
