Drew, John (1827–1862)

Irish-born US actor and comedian. He debuted in 1846 in New York, but most of his career and that of his wife, Louisa Lane Drew, centred on his repertory company at the Arch Street Theatre in Philadelphia.

He was born in Dublin.
