Dundrennan

Village in Dumfries and Galloway unitary authority, Scotland, 8 km/5 mi southeast of Kirkcudbright; population (2001) 230. It lies close to the ruins of an ancient Cistercian abbey, founded in 1142, where Mary Queen of Scots spent her last night in Scotland.
