Dundrum

Village and suburb some 6 km/4 mi south of Dublin, Republic of Ireland; population (2002) 2,000. It stands on the road to the Wicklow Mountains. Nearby are the ruins of the medieval Dundrum Castle; also nearby is Roebuck Lodge, the home of Maude Gonne MacBride (1866-1953), who inspired some of W B Yeats's poetry.
