Dunhill, Thomas (Frederick) (1877-1946)

English composer. He was assistant music master at Eton College 1899-1908, and organized concerts for chamber music and for the promotion of British music in London during the early years of the century. He entered the Royal College of Music, London, in 1893, where Charles Stanford was his composition master, and where he later became professor of composition.
