Dunnville

Town in Haldimand-Norfolk Regional Municipality, south Ontario, Canada; population (1991) 12,100. It is situated on the Grand River, 8 km/5 mi north of Lake Erie and 43 km/27 mi south-southeast of Hamilton. The site was chosen in 1827 for the terminus of a feeder to the Welland Canal. The town now manufactures tapestries, draperies, knitted goods, wire fencing, chemicals, boats, and doors.
