Dunseith

Town in Rolette County, north North Dakota; population (1990) 700. It is located 121 km/75 mi northwest of Devils Lake. It lies at the south edge of the Turtle Mountains, and is 19 km/12 mi south of the Canadian Manitoba border and the International Peace Garden. Dunseith originated as a gristmill in 1887. The Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation is 11 km/7 mi to the east.
