Dustin, Hannah (1657–c. 1736)

American colonial heroine. In 1697, American Indian raiders captured her, along with her youngest child, and a nurse. She and a captive boy killed 10 of the raiders and they received a bounty for the raiders' scalps that they took.

She was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts. She left many descendants and two monuments were later erected in her memory.
