Duval County

County in northeast Florida, on the Atlantic Ocean; area 2,010 sq km/776 sq mi; population (1990) 673,000. Its administrative headquarters is the city of Jacksonville. It also includes the municipalities of Atlantic Beach, Baldwin, Jacksonville Beach, and Neptune Beach.
