Dyson, Will (William Henry) (1880-1938)

Australian cartoonist and graphic artist. He was a cartoonist for a number of Australian magazines before moving to London 1910, where he worked for several major newspapers, in particular the Daily Herald. During World War I he became famous for his drawings of troops on the front line. He returned to Australia 1925, his series of satirical etchings On Moderns earning him an international reputation.
