Eaglesham

Conservation village in East Renfrewshire unitary authority, Scotland, 8 km/5 mi south of Glasgow; population (2001) 3,130. Eaglesham Moor rises to a height of over 300 m/984 ft to the west. Much of Eaglesham's attractive domestic architecture dates from the 18th century.
