Based on Statistics Canada census data from 1981 to 2001, the report indicates 1981 higher neighbourhood poverty was mostly concentrated in the old City of Toronto while today, that poverty is spread across the city's inner suburbs, particularly in the former cities of North York and Scarborough, York and East York. On Wednesday evening, two-year Officer Candice Mudgett, 28, was en route to assist a police unit involved in a high-speed chase of a motorcycle that failed to yield, when she was involved in a collision with two other vehicles near the intersection of East York Boulevard and Verdugo Road in Glendale at about 8:40 p. 1, 1998, when Toronto Hydro-Electric Commission, East York Hydro, Etobicoke Hydro, North York Hydro, Scarborough Public Utilities and York Hydro were consolidated into one company. |
