Edwards, Joe Frank, Jr (1958– )

US astronaut. He was aboard the space shuttle Endeavour that made the eighth docking with the Russian space station Mir in January 1998. He retired from NASA and the US Navy on 30 April 2000 and went on to be involved in technology, aviation, and business development with companies around the world. Edwards was selected as an astronaut in 1994.
