The transistor was nothing more than a solid state electronic switch. THE world's first diamond electronic switch has been developed by a Durham company which its bosses say has the potential to create hundreds of jobs in the North East. This electronic switch has much better accuracy and reliability than traditional mechanical switches, and is easily installed in place of existing mechanical switches, since it only requires two wires - and can replace legacy switches without the need for additional cable runs. |
