Elkhart Lake

Town in Sheboygan County, east Wisconsin; population (1990) 1,000. It is situated on Elkhart Lake, 24 km/15 mi northwest of Sheboygan. Tourists are attracted to the area's water sports and camping facilities. An early sports car racing track was located here. The surrounding region is agricultural, producing dairy items and grain.
