Elmwood Park

Town in Cook County, northeast Illinois; population (1990) 23,200. The town borders northwest Chicago. Although largely a residential suburb, it contains tool-and-die shops and other industries.

Elmwood Park

Town in Bergen County, northeast New Jersey; population (1990) 17,600. It is situated on the Passaic River, opposite Paterson. Formerly known as East Paterson, it has a wide variety of manufactures, and is also residential.
