Emanuel| British fashion designers who opened their own salon in 1977. They specialized in off-the-shoulder, ruffled, ornate and opulent evening wear and were leading designers in the renaissance revival fashion of the early 1980s. In 1981 Lady Diana Spencer, who became Princess of Wales, commissioned the Emanuels to design her wedding dress. |
