Englewood

Town in Arapahoe County, north-central Colorado; population (1990) 29,400. It is situated on the South Platte River, adjoining the southern boundary of the city of Denver. Largely residential, the town is also a financial and trading centre and a leading carnation grower. Industries produce published materials, steel items, electronic equipment, cellular telephones, and building construction materials.
