Englewood Cliffs

Town in Bergen County, northeast New Jersey; population (1990) 5,600. It is located on the Palisades of the Hudson River, across from the Bronx, and next to Englewood. The location of numerous one-family homes and riverfront condominiums with sweeping views of New York City, it is a primarily residential suburban community with some corporate headquarters for publishing and food companies.
