Epstein, Matthew (1947- )

American administrator and consultant. He studied at Pennsylvania University and joined Columbia Artists Mangagement, in New York, in 1973. He was appointed adviser to the Chicago Lyric Opera in 1980, and to the Kennedy Center and the San Francisco Opera from 1992. He was general director of the Welsh National Opera 1993-94.
