Ericht, Loch

Narrow lake in Highland unitary authority, Scotland, forming part of the northwest border of Perth and Kinross unitary authority. Lying 350 m/1,148 ft above sea level, its waters extend for 22 km/13 mi with an average width of less than 1 km/0.6 mi, and reach a depth of approximately 150 m/492 ft.

The River Ericht flows from the loch into Loch Rannoch, and forms the headwaters of the Tay Valley hydroelectric scheme.
