Esquivel Barahona, Juan de (c. 1565-after 1613)

Spanish composer. He was maestro de capilla at Salamanca Cathedral in 1608 and at Ciudad-Rodrigo 1611-13. His Masses and motets were published in two volumes in 1608, and a volume of miscellaneous sacred works in 1613. An Officium pro defunctis/Mass for the dead survives in manuscript form.
