Eveleth

Town in St Louis County, northeast Minnesota; population (1990) 4,100. It is located 87 km/54 mi north-northwest of Duluth, in the Mesabi Range. Settled in 1892, it has been since 1900 a shipper of iron ore, and also handles regional dairy products. The US Hockey Hall of Fame is in the town.
