Ewry, Ray(mond Clarence) (1873–1937)

US track and field athlete. Despite having polio as a child, he won 10 Olympic gold medals, more than any athlete in history. He won the standing broad jump and the high jump in 1900, 1904, 1906, and 1908, and the standing long jump in 1900 and 1904.

He was born in Lafayette, Indiana.
