Eybler, Joseph Leopold von (1765–1846)| Austrian composer. He attempted to complete Mozart's Requiem (1791) and suffered a stroke while conducting it in 1833. After holding various appointments in Vienna, he was chief Kapellmeister to the Austrian court 1824–33. |
