Eyemouth

Coastal town and former burgh in Scottish Borders unitary authority, Scotland, at the mouth of the River Eye, 13 km/8 mi northwest of Berwick-upon-Tweed; population (2001) 3,400. Fishing is the principal occupation.

Eyemouth was previously best known as the site of Scotland's worst ever fishing disaster which occurred on October 14, 1881, when 200 men died off the coast.
His wife, Elaine, Ben the dog and he moved to Eyemouth in April 2007 after living very happily in, first Highburton for three years, then Shelley for 27 years.
The local coastguard rescue team was sent to the scene with the St Abbs and Eyemouth lifeboats at about 12.
