Eynsford

Village in Kent, England, in the Darent valley, 12 km/7 mi north of Sevenoaks; population (2001) 1,750. Eynsford has a 12th-century castle, a Norman and 13th-century church, a 16th-century inn, and a 17th-century stone bridge.

To the south is Lullingstone Castle, a Tudor manor house with 18th-century additions; the flint church of St Botolph's is in its grounds. Nearby are Lullingstone Roman villa and other Roman buildings open to the public.
