Ezekiel (lived c. 600 BC)

In the Old Testament, a Hebrew prophet. Carried into captivity in Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar in 597 BC, he preached that Jerusalem's fall was due to the sins of Israel. The book of Ezekiel begins with a description of a vision of supernatural beings.
