Hezekiah

In the Old Testament, King of Judah from 719 BC. Against the advice of the prophet Isaiah he rebelled against Assyrian suzerainty in alliance with Egypt, but was defeated by Sennacherib and had to pay out large amounts in indemnities. He carried out religious reforms.
