UEFA Cup

Football championship played each year by European clubs.

The UEFA Cup was first staged in 1958 as the Intercity Fairs Cup, changing its name to the UEFA Cup in 1972. Teams from Spain, England, and Italy have dominated the competition, with clubs from the three countries accounting for more than 30 wins in total.
