Faldo, Nick (1957– )

English golfer who was the first Briton in 54 years to win three British Open titles. He was only the second person after Jack Nicklaus to win successive Masters titles (1989 and 1990) and the seventh player to win the Masters and British Open in the same year. During his career, he was the top ranked player in the world for a total of nearly two years.
