Far Hills

Town in Somerset County, north-central New Jersey; population (1990) 700. It is situated on the North Branch of the Raritan River, 11 km/7 mi north of Somerville. Set amid rolling hills, it is an extremely affluent community, with a variety of one-family homes and estates. The US Golf Association's Golf House museum and the Leonard J Buck Garden are here.
