Farnworth

Industrial town 5 km/3 mi southeast of Bolton, England, part of the Bolton borough of Greater Manchester Metropolitan County; population (2001) 13,000. Farnworth has a variety of textile manufactures, including bleaching, dyeing and hosiery, as well as engineering and printing industries.
