During the 3 years, 1,183 children with suspected CNS infections were assessed; 394 with bacterial meningitis or simple febrile convulsions were excluded, which left 789 children in our study. Major domains of positive opinion change following education were: the relationship between temperature and illness severity/risk of harm; and use and effects of antipyretic medication and febrile convulsions.
