Fellowes, Edmund H(orace) (1870–1951)

English clergyman and musicologist. He was educated at Winchester College and Oxford, and attached to St George's Chapel, Windsor, as a minor canon from 1900. He was awarded an honorary doctorate of music at Dublin, Ireland, in 1917 and Oxford in 1938. He wrote books on the English madrigal, William Byrd and Orlando Gibbons, edited The English Madrigal School (1913–24), English lutenist songs, and Byrd's works, and co-edited Tudor Church Music.
