Fenton, Roger

Fenton, Roger (1819–1869)

English photographer. He is best known for his comprehensive documentation of the Crimean War in 1855. He was a founder member of the Photographic Society (later the Royal Photographic Society) in London in 1853 but completely gave up photography in 1860.
