Ferguson, Homer

Ferguson, Homer (1889–1982)

US judge and senator. After serving on the Michigan circuit court, he was elected to the US Senate as a Republican for Michigan (1943–55). He was appointed ambassador to the Philippines in 1955.

He was born in Harrison City, Pennsylvania.
