Fetlar

Island in the northeast of the Shetland Islands group, Scotland, covering an area of 50 sq km/19 sq mi, about 50 km/31mi northeast of Lerwick; population (2001) 90. Crofting (a form of subsistence farming) is the principal activity. The main settlements are Funzie on the east coast and Houbie on the south coast. There is an airport on the island.
