Fireworks

Fantasy for large orchestra by Igor Stravinsky, composed in 1908 to celebrate the marriage of Nadezhda Rimsky-Korsakov, his teacher's daughter, to Maximilian Steinberg, in St Petersburg, Russia, on 17 June 1908. The score was revised for smaller forces and performed on 22 January 1910.
