premolar

In mammals, one of the large teeth toward the back of the mouth. In herbivores they are adapted for grinding. In carnivores they may be carnassials. Premolars are present in milk dentition as well as permanent dentition.

On a first premolar I noticed two darkish areas in the occlusal pits, commonly referred to as "snake eyes.
Discussion: In this case, attachments were placed on mandibular canines and first premolars to aid with intrusion of the mandibular incisors.
