Fisher, Allison (1968– )

English snooker and billiards player. With over 80 snooker titles to her credit, she has won a record seven ladies world titles, five UK titles, four British Opens, three world mixed doubles (with Steve Davis), and a world Masters ladies doubles with her chief rival, Stacey Hillyard. She boasts a top break of 144, a competition best break of 133, and was the first woman to make a televised century. In 1995 she left snooker, and started playing nine-ball pool. Since then she has won over 50 tournaments, including four world championships.

Fisher was born in Peacehaven, Sussex. She began playing snooker at the age of eight, played on her first full-size table aged 12, and joined the ladies professional circuit shortly after her 15th birthday.
