Fiske, Daniel Willard (1831-1904)

US book collector. A librarian and language professor at Cornell University, he moved to Italy and began collecting books on Dante, Icelandic culture, and the Rhaeto-Romantic languages, which he donated to Cornell along with a fund of over $500,000.

He was born in Ellisburg, New York.
