Fitzhugh, William (1651–1701)
| English-born American lawyer and planter. Originally a lawyer, he became a Virginian planter and exporter. He served in the House of Burgesses and prepared a digest of Virginia's laws. His surviving letters reveal the business operations of late-17th-century America. |
